A political group in Niger state has lauded the nomination of Engr. Sani Ndanusa by President Bola Tinubu as Niger state Non-Career Ambassador/High Commissioner, describing it as fitting a recognition of service, loyalty, experience and political commitment.

The Engr. Sani Ndanusa Support Group (ESSG) in a statement signed by Engineer Abubakar Ndaman made available to journalists in Minna disclosed that the nomination has renewed confidence and significantly reshaped their political calculations and strategic outlook towards the 2027 electoral season.

It should be noted that Ndanusa had served various capacities as General Manager, Permanent Secretary, Commissioner and, ultimately, Minister of Sports at the federal level.

Engr. Ndaman disclosed that the nominee’s political reach was further acknowledged at the national level when the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council appointed him Director of Contact and Mobilisation for the North-Central where the official Presidential Campaign Council records confirm his leadership role.

Ndanusa left the PDP and joined the APC in 2018, a development publicly described at the time as a major addition to the All Progressives Congress (APC) where he has worked closely with other leaders and stakeholders towards strengthening, consolidating and uplifting the APC in Niger State.

The Group then commended Governor Umaru Bago for his support and cooperation demonstrated in complementing the broader efforts that surrounded the national nomination.
