Bauchi APC Stalwarts hails Tinubu over appointment of Dogara as NCGC Chairman

The All Progressive Congress Chairmen and Stakeholders from Dass, Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro Federal Constituency have commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Hon Yakubu Dogara, the former Speaker of National Assembly as the Board Chairman of the National Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGC).

This was contained in a press statement signed by the APC state legal adviser Rabiu Garba and 19 other stakeholders and made available to reporters in Bauchi.

According to the chairmen, President Tinubu did a good job for appointing Dogara as the Chairman, saying, “We describe this appointment as putting the right thing in the right place. We believe Dogara will take the company to the right place and brings more development to the country.’

They described Dogara as a natural born leader whose sterling qualities are exceptional, pointing out that Dogara grew steadily through hard work, discipline, prudence, fear of God,and honesty.

“Dogara can best be described as a bastion of hope, courage and an epitome of humility to anybody who comes close to him. His leadership as the chairman NCGC (Dogara) will no doubt bring credibility, strategic direction, and impact to the laudable initiative”

“The appointment of Dogara shows that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu do things that reflect fairness and inclusivity in the representation of the Northern region within the federal government”

“This action not only addresses the concerns raised by various stakeholders regarding regional representation but also underscores the President’s commitment to listening to constructive criticism and making necessary adjustments for the greater good of the nation.”

“With Dogara appointment, Tinubu has injected new hands, that is, people that has the capacity to deliver and because of his experience, he will do his best to develop the economy of the country”.

“When Dogara was leading the house, it was peaceful and he discharged his constitutional responsibilities effectively. Under his leadership, he recorded many achievements in Nigeria’s legislative and political history since independence in 1960”.

“Notable among the many salient achievements is the passing of 300 Bills and over 1,000 resolutions that touched many aspects of our national life in addition to hundreds of public petitions from ordinary Nigerians that were treated and addressed”.

“The most outstanding among these are the North East Development Commission, Petroluem Industry Governance Bill, Federal Competition & Consumer Protection Commission Bill, just to mention a few.”

“Though by convention, presiding officers don’t sponsor bill or motions, Hon Dogara waved it aside and personally sponsored more than 10 Bills and became the first speaker to sponsor a motion on the floor of the House in addition to his advocacy on independence of the local government from the claws of the states”The statement read in parts

The chairmen urged Dogara to renew his commitment to serve humanity and assist the needy .
