Electorates have been urged to ensure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is returned to complete his eight-year tenure, and to vote for Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu as governor of Nasarawa State in the 2027 general elections.
The call was made by Professor Abdulkarim Kana, SAN, Deputy National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while speaking at the commissioning of a block of 9 classrooms and a science laboratory hall constructed by Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu at Government Secondary School, Mararaba Gurku, in Karu Local Government Area.
Professor Kana, who represented the APC National Chairman, said Senator Wadada’s generosity is not new, describing his philanthropy as part of his life and noting his immense contribution to the growth and progress of the APC.
“Let me not forget that what we are all gathered here for is not just about celebrating this edifice, but celebrating a man who knows the value of education.
“The administration of the APC under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has significantly improved education, healthcare, road infrastructure and many others. This is what we have witnessed in Nasarawa State under Engineer Abdullahi Sule,” he said.
He explained that with Senator Wadada as governor, there would be more human capital development and provision of essential basic needs for the people of Nasarawa State.
“It is in this light that I want to beg you, because we are now in an era of ‘I beg you sir’. No matter how much we have done and how sincere we are, I am begging you all to vote APC from top to bottom and from bottom to top. With this, should anyone take a different path, such persons are on their own and would be losers,” Prof. Kana stated.
Also speaking, Architect Shehu Tukur and Hon. Ahmed Tijani, Commissioner for Migrants, Refugees and Displaced Persons, eulogized Senator Wadada for demonstrating capacity even before his election to succeed Engineer Sule in 2027.
“This is why the choice of Senator Wadada as the APC flagbearer is not a mistake nor an effort in vain. And we will continue to tell you to vote APC, Senator Wadada for governor and all candidates of our party for more impactful human development in Nigeria and Nasarawa State,” they said.
