The Nasarawa State Government has assured residents that all ongoing projects across the 13 Local Government Areas (LGAs) state woukd be completed and commissioned before May 29, 2027.
Dr Nawani Aboki, Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism gave the assurance on at his maiden press conference on Monday in Lafia.
The Commissioner who was appointed recently, explained that the Gov. Abdullahi Sule-led administration was determined to deliver on its campaign promises and leave a lasting legacy in infrastructure development.
Aboki noted that the government would not abandon any project and would complete all the ongoing ones without borrowing money from any bank.
He listed some of the ongoing projects to include flyovers and underpasses in Keffi and Karu, five mini stadiums, roads in Nassarawa-Eggon, Akwanga, modern markets among others.

The commissioner said that the ministry was planning for on the spot visit to all the ongoing projects and the ones carried out by the current administration since inception in 2019 for proper documentation.
He also promised to initiate a weekly press briefing to keep the public informed about the activities of the state government and give journalists opportunity to ask questions where necessary for clarification.
He reiterthat that the ministry would documentoment the projects carried out by the administration and project the cultural heritage with a of boosting the tourism potential of the state.
He advised journalists to maintain high standards and professionalism in their reportage and always seek for clarification before publishing their report.
He also urged the media to help project the state government achievements accurately to both local, national and international audiences. (NAN).
