2027: APC Youth Parliament Backs Tinubu’s Retention of Shettima, Forecasts Northern Victory

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Parliament has strongly backed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s decision to retain Vice President Kashim Shettima as his running mate for the 2027 general elections, declaring that the move guarantees a dominant victory for the ruling party across the Northern region.

Speaking to journalists in Bauchi on Sunday, the Chairman of the APC Youth Parliament, Mr. Kabiru Garba Kobi, described the development as a strategic, timely masterstroke that rewards loyalty, competence, and national dedication.

According to Kobi, the decision has successfully cleared political anxiety in the region, fulfilling the deep-seated aspirations of voters across the North-East who view Shettima as a dependable and visionary leader.

“This is a clear indication that the Tinubu/Shettima ticket is well-positioned for re-election.Many people across the North-East and the North had keenly awaited the President’s decision, and the retention of Shettima has strengthened confidence in the party” Kobi stated

The youth leader praised the Vice President’s humility, patience, and unwavering commitment to the administration’s ongoing socio-economic reforms.

He noted that the decision reflects President Tinubu’s deep trust in Shettima’s leadership and his vital contributions to national development.With the ticket officially locked in, Kobi issued a rallying cry to party stakeholders, youths, and women to transition into full campaign mode.

He emphasized that the responsibility now rests on support groups to aggressively mobilize voters at the grassroots level.
