Victims of last year’s armed men attack in Yelwan-Zangam Community of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State have received humanitarian assistance from an NGO, Back on Track.
The Non Governmental Organization that attached premium in helping the needy gave out support to 19 families that were affected by the attack on the community last year. Their aim is to put smile on the faces of the people no matter how small their resources may be.

The recent visit to Yelwan-Zangam Community with the relief materials was not the first time by the NGO as they had visited earlier and counseled the victims on trauma healing and the need for forgiveness.
Speaking at the presentation of the relief materials, the Program Director of the NGO, Akilahyel Kadiri said what they are given them is not much but their coming is to encourage them and to assure them that God is with them.

“What we brought to you is not much, but because of the love that God has brought us together, please take it in good faith and even if it is one meal that you will take from it, let it bring healing to you” he said.
Responding on behalf of the victims, the community leader, Ajidai Isa, appreciated the NGO for remembering them in a time like this when life is so hard for his surviving subjects.
“We thank you for the support, I feel like crying now because it shows that people love us” said the Community Youth leader, Yakubu Bagudu.
