The ongoing construction of British-America flyover is expected to be completed and handed over to the state government by December, 2022.

Engr. Mansur said the work is at 50% completion, considering that they are done with substructure which is the major work and now they are on superstructure work.

While leading the Committee members round the construction site for inspection, he stated that the work is expected to be completed by December, 2022.

Chairman of the House Committee on Works, Engr. Useini Amurudu expressed satisfaction with the level of the work and commitment of the state government in awarding the contract which if completed will be of great benefits to the state citizens and other commuters.

He said the project is been fund by the Plateau State tax-payer’s money and at least the people can see where their money is going and it is not only an asset to the people of the state and any other person residing in the state, but is going to ease movement and boost the economy of the state and country at large.

The inspection was the first by the House Committee since the commencement of the work and the Chairman of the committee assured that the other things they have observed, they will need to go back to the drawing plan of the work and compare it with what is on the site before their next visit.
