Nasarawa Govt gives Sen. Ewuga State Burial amidst eulogies.

Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, has urged for unity in order to fast track development in the State, North Central region and Nigeria at large.

Gov. Sule made the call during the funeral service of Sen. Solomon Ewuga at ERCC, Alushi, Nassarawa Eggon LGA today.

It was reported that late Sen. Solomon Ewuga was given a State Burial amidst testimonies of the outstanding leader in a funeral that attracted both the high and the low from within and outside of the State.

While speaking at the funeral service, Gov. Sule said that unity is important to the development of the State and the Country, hence the need of his call in that direction.

He said that Ewuga was a man who loved peace and a man with good heart.

The Governor urged the family, Eggon nation and the state to bear the irreparable lost.

Sule prayed God to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.

Earlier, Rev. Gagara Maluchi, the General Secretary of ERCC while presiding over the funeral service titled ” From Dust to Dust” has urged believers to live an exemplary lives .

He said that Ewuga was a father that contributed positively to the development of not just Nasarawa State but the Country at large.

” We have gathered here to honour our late father, Sen. Solomon Ewuga, Ewuga was a good man.

” He has helped a lot of people and we pray God to grant him eternal rest” He said.

On her part, Mrs Josephine Ewuga, the deceased wife described her late husband as a man, who loved his children and others.

” My husband has helped a lot of people, he has trained so many students in the country and contributed positively to the development of the society” she said.

She, however, said that her husband has faced a lot of political and other challenges of life.

” There were a lot of challenges, political challenges and others” she said.

She prayed God to forgive her husband’s shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.

It would be reported that the funeral service had in attendance Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, the State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, Sen. Tanko Al- Makura, Mrs Josephine Piyo, Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Sen. Joshua Dariye former Governor of Plateau State, Members of the National Assembly and those from the State Assembly, traditional, religion and community leaders, State APC Chairman Dr. Aliyu Bello, Hon. Silas Agara, Hon. Labaran Maku, Sen. Patricia Akwashiki, Sen. John Danboyi, Sen. Philip Gyunka, Sen. Solomon Adokwe, Hon Jeremiah Umaru, Hon. Yakubu Dogara former Speaker of the House of Representatives, APC Gubernatorial aspirants in the State among other personalities from within and outside of the State.

It was also reported that the Deputy Governor of Plateau State delivered the message of the Plateau State Government just as Hon. Labaran Maku spoke on behalf of the former Deputy Governors in the State.
