Gombe State Peaceful Coexistence Worth Emulating- Former YOWICAN President

The former National President, Youth Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria, YOWICAN, Engineer Daniel Kadzai has lauded the peaceful living among diverse religion and ethnic groups in Gombe State.

He also called for sustenance of the peaceful and harmonious coexistence among the people irrespective of their religion and tribal affiliation.

Engr. Kadzai made the commendation while leading the 7th edition of Christmas rally to the Palace of Emir of Gombe and Government House, Gombe State.

The former YOWICAN President who is the National Coordinator of International Peace Advocacy and Conflict Resolution, described the peaceful coexistence enjoyed in the State as worthy of emulation by all States of the Federation.

He further said the peaceful atmosphere during the rally was an indication that the religious, traditional and political leaders have embraced equity and fairness in discharging their duties hence, there is need for all and sundry to replicate.

The former National President of the Youth Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria also commended the Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya and the Emir of Gombe and Chairman of the Gombe State Traditional Council, Dr. Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III for what he described as their unbiased pragmatic leadership qualities, irrespective of religion or ethnicity.

Responding, the Emir of Gombe, Dr. Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III who could not hide his joy for the Christmas homage, expressed appreciation for the love, care and prayers he received from the Christian community as well as the people of the State.

The Emir called for more support, as he assured that he will continue to be just and fair to all for the interest of peace.
