A socio-political group in the fold of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Team Wazobia Nigeria, Abia state chapter, has declared that there is no vacancy in Aso Rock in 2027.
The pro-democracy group vowed to resist any attempt by unscrupulous opposition elements to undermine President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration in the country under the guise of coalition.
The latest declaration by Team Wazobia Nigeria was contained in a communique issued at the end of its enlarged meeting attended by members across Abia state, which took place at Amaoba oboro Ikwuano countryhome of the state coordinator, Chief Hon Jerry Awah.
The group also sued for unity among Abia APC members and also support to the party leadership in the state.
The communique read in full: “We do hereby resolve as follows, that the APC in Abia State is one indivisible family under the leadership of the State Chairman of the party, chief Kingsely Ononogbu and enjoined party members and faithfuls who may in one way or the other feel offended to forgive and join in moving the party forward.
“We also declare with a very sincere sense of patriotism that there will be no vacancy in Aro Rock come 2027 as any attempt in any guise to undermine President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration through shambolic coalitions and conspiracies as orchestrated by very unpatriotic and disgruntled members of the opposition is bound to collapse and fall given the strong support as enjoyed by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu across the country and the South East in particular.
“It takes the boldness and courage of a Bola Ahmed Tinubu to dismantle the Evil Cabal that has been holding this country to ransom and desecrateting and stealing our common and collective patrimony during the regime of the inglorious fuel subsidy.
“We challenge the opposition to access Bola Ahmed Tinubu with open mind putting into consideration the following:
“Students loan scheme
“Revenue to FAAC which has more than quadrupled in the last 2 years.
“Minimum wage/Corpers wage
“Financial autonomy to LGAs
“Favourable tax reforms
“Revival of moribund refineries
“Increased GDP
“Increase in foreign reserves
“Over 800 primary health care centres across the country.
Indeed, this and many more.
“One is tempted to ask, how many lions will Mr President kill for him to be acknowledged a great hunter.
“Enough of the charade going on at the moment, Abia must rise up to be counted. Abia must be hooked and connected to the centre for the benefit of all.
