Musa Labaran Bage, the Galadiman Lafia has dissociated himself and the family from the recent report credited to one Mohammed Galadima-Gana, on the alleged plane to exclude Gidan Galadiman Lafia in the proposed creation of new district heads by Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state.
This is contained in a statement signed by Musa-Bage, leader of the Gidan Galadima royal family and made available to newsmen in Lafia .
He explained that the author of the earlier publication on the planned exclusion of the Gidan Galadima from the creation of new district did not consult him neither members of the family before going press.
Bage further explained that as a leader of the Gidan Galadima, the family is loyal to the Emir of Lafia Justice Sidi MUHAMMAD Bage 1, and the entire emirate council.
He added that he has expressed whatever interest the Gidan Galadima has in the planned district creation to the relevant stakeholders of the emirate.
“This matter is before the emir and it is wrong for somebody who is not the leader of the family not even known in the family to go to the press and discuss it when it is being handled already.” Bage said.
It could be recalled that recently Mohammed Galadima-Gana, has
claimed that there is an apparent move to exclude the family from the proposed creation of additional Districts heads in Lafia Emirate Council, and appealed to governor SULE for their inclusion for the purpose of justice, fairness, peace and equitable treatment of the family.
