Says his victory is well-deserved

The Organisation of African Instituted Churches (OAIC), Nigeria Region, has congratulated Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, following his re-election victory over the weekend.
The indigenous Christian body described Adeleke’s victory as well-deserved in a congratulatory letter dated August 16.
The statement was signed by the OAIC Regional Secretary, Joe O. Okoh, on behalf of the Regional President, Elder Israel Akinadewo.
The letter, made available to journalists on Monday, noted that the electoral outcome reflects the deep confidence the people of Osun State have in Adeleke’s leadership.
“Your victory at the polls is a significant expression of the confidence and trust which the good people of Osun State have reposed in your leadership and administration,” the statement read.
The OAIC urged the Governor to use his renewed mandate to consolidate his first-term achievements.
They further tasked him with advancing peace, unity, welfare, and socio-economic development across the state.
The organization, which counts Governor Adeleke as a member through one of its constituent churches, offered prayers for his upcoming tenure.
They specifically prayed for divine wisdom, sound health, courage, and discernment.
“May your second term usher in greater development, prosperity, peace and progress for all the people of Osun State, irrespective of political, religious or other affiliations,” the group added.
The OAIC concluded by assuring the Governor of its continuous prayers and goodwill as he prepares to commence his second term of service.
