The Plateau State Coordinator of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), Hon. Engr. Emmanuel Wokrit Goladi, has endorsed Oluseyi Makinde for Nigeria president in 2027 and Hon. Samuel DanAuta Kyarshik (SDK) for governor of Plateau State under the APM platform
In a statement which was electronically signed by the coordinator, he urged the electorate to vote for all APM candidates across Plateau State, maintaining that the party represents a people-oriented alternative capable of delivering jobs, food security, and inclusive governance.
He declared that the party is emerging as Nigeria’s strongest and most competitive opposition platform ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The state coordinator said the APM has continued to record significant political gains across the country, noting that the party now boasts two sitting governors and several members in the House of Representatives, with expectations of further growth.
He criticized the country’s major political parties, saying they had failed to meet the expectations of Nigerians.
“The broom has swept but left us dirty. The umbrella leaked and got us wet. But cassava feeds 90 percent of our homes. It is our food, our survival, our future,” Goladi stated.
According to him, the party’s rising profile demonstrates that Nigerian voters are increasingly prioritizing credibility and performance over traditional political structures.

Reflecting on the 2023 general elections, Goladi argued that electoral success is no longer determined solely by financial strength or party machinery.
“If the word ‘structure’ was all that matters, then every candidate with money and party machinery would have been governor. But Plateau people voted for credibility. That is why APM is rising—because we are building on trust and performance, not just offices,” he said.
The APM chieftain called on Plateau residents to support the party in the 2027 elections, urging voters to move away from the dominant political parties and embrace the APM’s cassava symbol.
He concluded by encouraging voters to identify with the party’s cassava logo during the elections, describing it as a symbol of hope, self-reliance, and prosperity.
