Nigeria Economic Empowerment & Menstrual Health Project Launch Holds May 26 in Jos

Stakeholders, development partners, women groups and members of the public have been invited to the launch of the Nigeria Economic Empowerment and Menstrual Health Project scheduled to hold in Jos, Plateau State.

The project launch with the “Breaking Barriers, Building Resilience, Empowering Women, Transforming Communities.” is focuses on promoting confidence, opportunity and resilience among women and girls.

The programme is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in collaboration with the Plateau State Government, and is being implemented by PSI Nigeria in partnership with CRUDAN, Integrated Community Development Initiative of Nigeria (ICDIN), and Women & Girl Child Initiative.

According to the organisers, the initiative aims to address menstrual health challenges, promote economic empowerment for women and girls, and strengthen community resilience through strategic partnerships and sustainable interventions.

Participants from government agencies, civil society organisations, development partners, community leaders and the general public are expected to attend the launch.
