A frontline aspirant for the Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Barrister Seyilnen Luzu, has dumped the party and joined the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
In a telephone interview on Wednesday, Barrister Luzu said he resigned from the ADC on May 15, 2026, due to uncertainty within the party.
Speaking on his decision to join the APM, Luzu said that after studying developments in different political parties, he chose the APM because it has less internal issues compared to his former party and others.
According to Luzu, “After much consultation and prayers, I chose, alongside my aspiration for PKK Federal Constituency, to lead a new path for the entirety of youths and credible leaders in Plateau State, one with less complexity but clearer direction based on integrity and truth.

“I met with the national leadership of the APM and found peace. Young minds who believe in leading Nigerians to a better future must believe in themselves and not in overrated platforms.
“Our electorates are now more informed and will vote based on personality and credibility, not just big names or political platforms,” he added.
Barrister Seyilnen Luzu also expressed optimism that with the consultations he has held and the desire of the people for him to represent them at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, he would emerge victorious in the 2027 PKK Federal Constituency election.
He used the medium to call on the people of PKK Federal Constituency to support his aspiration regardless of political party affiliation, to enable him provide people-centred representation for the constituency.
Luzu said his aspiration is anchored on youth and women empowerment, as well as prioritising security, healthcare and education for the people.
With Barrister Seyilnen Luzu now on the ballot for the PKK Federal Constituency in the 2027 elections, political observers say the race is shaping up to be one of the most interesting constituency contests in Plateau State.
