ADC Guber Aspirant Chendan Rejects Factionalism, Declares Support for Gagara

Hon. Solomon Nandy Chendan, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) gubernatorial candidate in the 2023 Plateau State election, has rejected factional activities within the party and reaffirmed his support for Hannatu Gagara as the duly recognized state chairperson.

In a statement issued by Solomon Adesina, his Director Media and Strategies, Chendan condemned ongoing attempts to create divisions within the party, warning that such actions would not derail the ADC’s mission to reposition Plateau State.

Chendan who is also an aspirant for the 2027 Guber election in the state, stressed that the party remains united and committed to its goals, despite internal disagreements.

“We won’t allow factions to sow discord or confuse our people,” Chendan stated, adding that the party would strongly resist any move aimed at hijacking its structure or undermining its integrity.

Highlighting his contributions to the growth and development of the ADC in Plateau State, Chendan emphasized that the party’s leadership would not allow external forces to destabilize its progress.

“We have worked tirelessly to build the ADC in Plateau, and we will not allow anyone to destroy what has been achieved,” he added.

Chendan’s position is widely seen as a significant endorsement of Gagara’s leadership at a time when the party is grappling with internal disputes.
