The Federal Government has commended the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for the construction of a Liquid Oxygen Tank at the newly established Federal University Teaching Hospital (FUTH) Lafia.
Dr Shetak Gilbert, Head of Oxygen Desk, Federal Ministry of Health stated this during the inspection of the project on Friday in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
The oxygen tank constructed by FHI360 with support from the US Government through USAID would be used in the hospitals to store oxygen for patients who require oxygen therapy.
