Nasarawa SWAN congratulates former Deputy Governor over appointment as NDE DG

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Nasarawa State Chapter has congratulated the former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Silas Agara on his appointment as the Director General, National Directorate of Employment (NDE).

President Bola Tinubu had in a statement issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale announced the appointment of Agara as the Director-General of the NDE.

A statement signed by the Chairman of SWAN in the state, Smah George and Secretary, Abel Leonard, described the appointment as well-deserved and a testament to the former Deputy Governor’s dedication and hard work.

It read: “We are thrilled to hear about your appointment as the Director General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE). This is a well-deserved recognition of your dedication and hard work, and we are proud to associate with you.

“Your appointment is a testament to your ability and expertise, and we have no doubt that you will excel in your new role. We congratulate you on this achievement and wish you success in your endeavors.

“As sports writers, we appreciate your support and encouragement over the years, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with you in your new role.

“You have been a strong supporter of sports development in Nasarawa State, and your appointment as Director General of the NDE is seen as a positive development for the state and the country at large.

“Once again, congratulations on your appointment, and we wish you all the best.”

Agara, an entrepreneur and sports administrator has previously served as the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State.

Until his appointment, he was the Federal Commissioner representing Nasarawa State at the National Population Commission (NPC).
