In the scorching heat of Mount Arafat, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Plateau State pilgrims gathered to pray for a peaceful administration and harmonious coexistence in the state and nation.
Executive Secretary of the Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board, Plateau state, Alh. Dayyabu Dauda, spoke to our correspondent via telephone.
According to Alh. Dauda, pilgrims were instructed to pray for continued peace and successful administration in the state as they performed supplications at Mount Arafat. He emphasized that the state needs prayers for Allah’s intervention and guidance for Governor Caleb Mutfwang to continue his good work.
The Board has made adequate provisions for pilgrims in Munah and Musdalifah. After spending the night in Mudalifah, pilgrims will proceed to cast the devils, a crucial ritual in the Hajj exercise. Missing the stay in Mount Arafat invalidates the Hajj, making this a significant moment for the intending pilgrims.”
