
Mr. Jeremiah Umaru (APC), House of Representatives Member representing Akwanga/Nassarawa-Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency of Nasarawa has called for true reconciliation among members of the Nasarawa State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC).
The member made the call during a solidarity visit to Alh. Aliyu Bello, on his emergence as APC Chairman of the state on Friday in Lafia.
According to the green chamber lawmaker,, off the period of electioneering is over and its outcome was favourable to some and unfavourable to some other persons.
He explained that those who emerged victorious should be magnanimous in victory and carry every member of the party along irrespective of their political camp.
“I will champion the reconciliation of our party in my constituency and ensure we listen to everyone no matter where they choose to be during and after the election with a view of having a united party,” he added.
He also advised the party to embark on total reconciliation in the other federal constituencies and senatorial zones to ensure that the party is united.
On the reason for the visit, the member said led the delegation to congratulate the chairman on his emergence and promised to support him to succeed.

Umaru also promised to be the good ambassador of the party both at the national assembly and by ensuring that he improve the living condition of the people of his constituency.
He also urged the people of the state and Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu and Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State to succeed.
He explained that the president and the governor need the support of all Nigerians especially from the members of APC.

Responding, the APC Chairman, Aliyu Bello expressed gratitude to Umaru for the solidarity visit.
Bello explained that he was happy with the performance of the member representing Akwanga/Nassarawa-Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency in just 100 days.
He added if the member sustain his performance, the people would continue to entrust him with their mandate.
The Nasarawa State APC Chairman therefore promised to make reconciliation the topmost priority of his administration in order to increase the fortune of the party in the state. (NAN).
