
The newly posted Commander, 4 Special Forces Command of the Nigerian Army Doma, Nasarawa State Major General Hilary Nzan has tasked troops of the command to redouble their efforts in securing the country to enhance socio economic development.
Major General Hilary Nzan gave the task while taking over mantle of leadership of the command in Doma, Nasarawa State.
According to him, the Nigerian Army would continue to explore different approaches to counter insurgency, banditry and any form of activities that are threats to national security.
Major General Hilary Nzan pointed out that he is taking over the command with renewed vision in tackling insecurity especially farmers herders clashes and called on troops of the command to be brave and swift in responses to distress calls to secure the communities.
The outgoing commander, Major General Oluyinka Soyele remarked that over the years, troops of the 4 Special Forces Command had distinguished themselves in different operations especially in the North East and other parts of the country.
He urged the the troops to uphold loyalty and be dedicated to their duties in line with the peculiar operations of the 4 Special Forces formation.
