A technocrat and a frontline gubernatorial aspirant in Plateau State under the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Dr. Patrick Dakum has congratulated the winners of Saturday’s Federal and State Assembly Bye-elections in the State.
Dr. Daukm who is the Chief Executive Officer of Institute of Human Virology Nigeria IHVN, challenged them to see their victories as an avenue to serve their respective constituencies, state and the nation at large.
He said, “Now that winners have emerged in both the main Political Party, All Progressives Congress (APC) and opposition, People’s Democratic Party (PDP), I congratulate the winners and challenge them to ensure the interest of the people should be their guiding principle in the discharge of their duties.
“To our APC candidate, Chief Ezra Dakup, who was elected to Represent the good people of Pankshin South in the Plateau State House of Assembly, consider your election as a call to service for the interest of your constituency and greater Plateau.
And Hon Musa Aviah Agah of the People’s Democratic Party, the voice of the people have spoken through the ballot boxes, about who to represent them and it rested upon your shoulders.
Accept my congratulations as I urge you to reciprocate the trust bestowed upon you by representing the people to the best of your abilities by adding value and development to your constituency.
