
State Chairman, Council of Chiefs and Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage retired has reiterated commitment to ensuring full participation of traditional institutions across the state in the campaign for collection of Permanent Voters Cards.
Justice Sidi Bage retired gave this indication during a stakeholders meeting on PVC Collection and 2023 General Election organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Lafia the Nasarawa State capital.
The Emir stated that as grassroots leaders, they will establish sustainable mobilization and explore all avenues to reach out to the people especially eligible voters to avail themselves to collect their PVCs.

INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr Uthman Ajidagba called on the stakeholders to remain committed to their support and cooperation to enable the commission deliver free, fair and credible elections in 2023.
Dr. Uthman Ajidagba however stressed the need for politicians to exhibit high sense of responsibility, embrace campaigns of decorum, peace and play the game according to the rules.
Stakeholders in the meeting were made of security agencies, traditional rulers, National Orientation Agency and Civil Society Groups.
