Report has it that torrential downpour had raised havoc on a federal highway connecting northern, eastern and western part of the country in Lafia, the Nasarawa State Capital.
Residents of Lafia took to social media to caution motorists on the danger and need to take precautions while plying the road especially at night.
The report has it that one side of the bridge between Nasarawa State Polytechnic, now Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic Lafia and Bukan Sidi, was half washed by the heavy rain.
Barricades were seen and men of the Federal Road Safety Corps are working hard to control motorists to avoid any accident.
