Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel has approved the appointment of Philip Eplong as his Press Secretary.
Until his appointment, Eplong is an Assistant Chief Information Officer with Jos North Local Government, where he worked diligently and distinguished himself over the years.
His media experience spans several years, having worked in the newsroom of Plateau Radio Television Corporation between 2003 and 2004 as a news reporter with Media Temple Global, a Jos-based media outfit owned.
Philip Eplong holds a Diploma and a Bachelor’s degree certificates in Mass Communication from the University of Jos.
The Speaker expressed confidence that Eplong will bring his wealth of experience in media and public communications to bear in promoting his activities and that of the House.
He wished the new Press Secretary success in his new role.
