
Members of the Plateau State House of Assembly had yesterday eulogized their late colleague, member representing Qua’anpan North, Eric Dakogol during a Valedictory Session in his honour.
The House suspended Thursday plenary to honour their late colleague, Eric Dakogol.
Majority Leader of the House, Na’anlong Daniel who read the biography of the deceased, described him as a jovial fellow and a team player to the core.
He called on wife of the deceased to trust God and take what happened as an act of the Lord as all mortals are on pilgrimage on earth.
Speaker of the House of Assembly, Yakubu Sanda, eulogized the late Eric Dakogol, saying he enjoyed cordial working relationship with him as he described him as a man of peace.
Members of the 9th Assembly took turns and spoke well about their late colleague and shared on moments they had with him. They also stressed the need for total forgiveness among them at all times because the world and everything in it is vanity.
Others appealed for support for the family and suggested if the House could look into the education of the children of late colleagues, especially those below the ages of 18.
Flag of the state Assembly went down and two minutes silence was also observed during the valedictory session in his honour.

Governor Simon Lalong was represented by the state Deputy Governor Sunny Tyoden, wife and children of the deceased, Chairman of Qua’anpan local government council, former speakers and former members of the state Assembly were also at the chamber for the valedictory session.
Late Eric Dakogol who is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC and two time member, representing Qua’anpan North died last week and is billed to be buried today, Friday.
