The National Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, has applauded Tinubu’s reforms and policies direction of his administration.
Uzodinma also inaugurated Zonal and Local Government Areas coordinators of the Renewed Hope Agenda in Nasarawa State.
He performed the inauguration during the thank you rally organised in honour of President Tinubu and Gov. Abdullahi Sule in Lafia.
The National Coordinator highlighted policies and reforms of the administration of the President that brought stabilisation to the foreign exchange rate and the reduction in the price of foodstuffs.
He urged the newly inaugurated Renewed Hope Zonal and LGAs Coordinators to evangelise the good works of President Tinubu in their respective zones.
“I bring you a message of hope from President Tinubu. The message I brought is for you to understand the happenings in Nigeria. The very good work our President has done, the transformation he has brought to Nigeria.
“The economic recovery he has achieved in Nigeria, we will take our gospel to the grassroots, the wards, zones, and polling units, to inform our people of the achievements and progress the Renewal Hope Agenda under President Tinubu has recorded.
“We need to let our people know that our foreign reserve has gone up. We need to let our people know that the naira against dollars continues to gain strength day by day. And for the period of six months, the exchange rate has remained stable,” he said.
Uzodinma challenged the Coordinator of the North Central, the state, the zonal and LGAs coordinators, the wards, and the polling unit ambassadors to take ownership of the project and educate people on the achievements of the President.
Also speaking, Gov Abdullahi Sule applauded President Tinubu’s reform agenda that brought about improved allocations to the state and stabilization to the nation’s economy.
He urged the Renewed Hope ambassadors in the state to intensify educating people of the state, especially in rural areas, about the reforms, programmes, and policies of President Tinubu’s administration.
“Indeed, a lot is happening in this government, and a lot of people do not even know they can benefit. One of the things that is happening that our people at the grassroots are not aware of is that you don’t have to be rich any longer to send your children to school.
“Through the NEL Fund, which is the National Education Loan Fund that is available, you can actually get the resources that you can use to sponsor your children in school, and the good news is that they don’t even have to pay until they can get a job after graduation.
‘This is the best education loan that I have met in my life. The Renewed Hope agenda has come up with so many programmes, so many interventions, and a lot of our people are not aware,” Sule said.
Speaking at the rally, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), applauded Gov. Sule for replicating the good works of President Tinubu in Nasarawa state.
APC National Chairman used the occasion to formally receive defectors from other political parties into the APC fold.
“You have shown the leadership, every day, you make the party attractive to people from other parties, you provide religious tolerance and tribal inclusion, I can see the mix in your appointments. Clearly, there’s no religious bias.
“We are seeing agriculture being demonstrated here, providing inputs to the farmers, the same thing in education, social inclusion is what we are doing. The president is doing another job, we are doing the same thing here. Mr. President has shown that development can be distributed,” he said.
Earlier, Convener of the rally, Dr Labaran Magaji, who is the Secretary to the Nasarawa State Government and Nasarawa Coordinator of the Renewed Hope, said that the mega rally should not be mistaken for a political campaign.
He noted that the rally was put together by the people of Nasarawa state to thank President Tinubu and Gov Sule for the good works they are doing for humanity.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Sen. Ahmed Wadada, Sen. Philip Gyunka, Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State Assembly, Mr. Muhammad Oyanki, among others, were formally received into the APC fold by the APC National Chairman. (NAN)
