Faisal donates ICT equipment, cash worth N70m to support APC e-registration

Dr Shuaib Faisal, a leading governorship aspirant in Nasarawa State has donated ICT equipment and cash worth N70 million to facilitate ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) membership e-registration in Nasarawa State.

Dr Faisal made the donation in Lafia at the Party Secretariat.

He said that the intervention was part of his commitment to the ongoing party membership e- registration in the state.

Faisal applauded President Bola Tinubu’s courageous reforms that stabilised the nation’s economy through the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration.

He noted that the President has shown uncommon clarity of purpose, taking difficult but necessary decisions to reset the nation and lay the groundwork for sustainable growth and shared prosperity.

He hailed Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s exemplary leadership that continues to define Nasarawa State.

He noted that under Gov. Sule’s watch, the state has embarked on a bold and deliberate transformation, anchored on human capital development, economic diversification and infrastructure modernisation.

” I am pleased to announce a total intervention valued at 70 million Naira in cash and ICT to support our great party. Specifically, I’m donating N5 million to the state party secretariat to support logistics for the e-registration exercise.

“I am also donating three all-in-one desktop computers, three high-capacity printers, and one internet router, thereby redeeming my pledge to support the party secretariat,” he said.

He announced the donation of N500, 000 to the party secretariat across 13 LGAs and additional N200, 000 to each of the 147 wards to support the effective implementation of e-registration at the grassroots.

“Along with the cash gifts, I’m also donating two cartons of A4 paper to each of the 147 electoral wards, making it 294 cartons. These will facilitate smooth and efficient e-registration. 

“As part of my commitment to this exercise, I’ m  happy to announce that through the Dr Faisal Foundation, we will support the engagement of an additional five registration agents per ward so that we can increase registration across wards,” he announced.

Dr Aliyu Bello, the State APC chairman, while receiving the items thanked Dr Faisal for his generous donation to the party to facilitate ongoing party membership e-registration.

He said that under his leadership the party remains united and stronger as it works hard to deliver whoever emerge as APC candidate in the 2027 general elections. (NAN)
