Nasarawa Eggon Chairman Felicitates Tinubu, Sule on Nigeria @65, Nasarawa @29

The Executive Chairman of Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Council, Barr. Iliya Ibn Aliyu, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigerians at large on the country’s 65th Independence Anniversary, while also felicitating Governor Abdullahi Sule and the people of Nasarawa State on the state’s 29th anniversary.

In his goodwill message, Barr. Iliya commended President Tinubu’s leadership, describing the ongoing economic reforms as challenging but impactful. He said the reforms have the potential to reshape Nigeria’s future both at the national and local levels.

The council boss particularly hailed the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that projects such as the nationwide housing initiative were rekindling optimism among Nigerians for a brighter and more prosperous future. He added that the President had recorded significant achievements in the areas of economic growth, political reforms, security, and infrastructure.

On the 29th anniversary of Nasarawa State, Barr. Iliya described the present era as one of the most transformative in the history of the State, pointing to Governor Sule’s investments in infrastructure and economic development. He said such efforts had modernized the State capital and turned several local government headquarters from rural centers into emerging urban hubs.

He further commended the Governor’s strides in security, democratization, and the promotion of an enabling environment for free speech and press freedom. According to him, Sule’s Exceeding Expectations mantra has become a benchmark for public service delivery in the State.

Barr. Iliya prayed for President Tinubu and Governor Sule to be granted greater wisdom as they continue to discharge their responsibilities. He also prayed for sustained peace, unity, and love among the people of Nasarawa State and Nigeria.
