Vice Chancellor, Karl Kumm University Vom, Prof Nanven Audu Gambo has expressed the commitment of his management team towards creating an enabling environment to enable the institutions’ staff acclimatize with their operational responsibilities for greater productivity.
Protocol and Information Officer of Karl Kumm University, Mr. Bulus Gambo in a statement said the VC was speaking during an orientation programme held for all its staff at the Senate Hall of the University.
He said, Prof Gambo also encouraged the staff to continue to put in their best so as to ensure that the university maintain its appreciative status in the nation’s educational sector.
According to the Vice Chancellor, the resource persons for the orientation programme were carefully selected to ensure that the staff comprehend the complex operational responsibilities of university system and grant them the wisdom to prepare for their successful academic career.
The statement added that to help cultivate and sustain the integrity of the university, Prof Gambo informed the staff that management are strategizing towards monitoring both academic and none academic staff with the sole aim of preparing them for the great task ahead.
Resource persons at the event, Prof Yilkur Lohdip, Dean, Faculty of Science and Computer, Karl Kumm University, and Mr Nansak Nimchak, Senior Deputy Registrar University of Jos both encourage staff of the institution to continue to put in their best in order to propel the institution to greater heights in no distance future.
In his vote of thanks, the Registrar, Karl Kumm University, Benjamin Dachomo appreciated the resource persons for intellectually doing justice to the topics given them.
He also appreciated the doggedness of the Vice Chancellor Prof Nanven Gambo who has continued to approve lucrative ideas intended to help the institution consolidate on the achievements so far recorded.
The statement added that the orientation exercise was held to enable the staff prepare themselves for the challenges ahead.
