The President of Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN, Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo has on behalf of the Church condoled with the family of former Plateau State Governor, Senator Joshua Dariye over the demise of their mother, Kaka Saratu Dariye.
During a condolence visit to the former Governor at his Jos residence in Jos South local government area of Plateau State, the Church spiritual leader said a mother’s death is often times more painful no matter how old she was.
He read from the book of Revelation 21:4, and assured the family that God will wipe their tears. He encouraged them to find solace in God in their moment of grief.
“I stand here on behalf of the Church of Christ in Nations, to condole with this family and also to condole with the entire Dariye’s family for the transition of our dear mother. Kaka had lived with us, but now God has called her to rest” he said.

Responding on behalf of the Dariye’s family, the former Plateau State Governor, Chief Sen. Joshua Dariye, thanked the President of the Church and his team for identifying with them at their moment of grief, noting that they would not take the visit for granted.
Sen. Dariye said God revealed to their mother that her time was up, narrating how she had always said she is tired and will soon go. He added that even the Sunday she passed on, she prevailed on his younger brother that she will follow him to Church and when he asked her to stay at home, she told him if he left her, he will not come and meet her alive.
Dariye used the avenue to solicit for more prayers for Bokkos, Mangu, Barkin Ladi and the entire state for peace and God’s comfort for victims of the recent unprovoked attacks in the state.
According to the family, late Kaka Saratu Dariye passed on to rest on Sunday at a time she did not show any sign of sickness.
The Church delegation for the condolence visit included the Deputy General Secretary, Rev. Dinfa Mamshal and the Church protocol officer, Rev. Mikang Gukam.
