
An international faith based non-governmental organization known as “ServeNow” with one of her Nigeria partners, Shalom Youth Development Initiative, (SYDI) have unveiled a second series of her discipleship books.
The event which was held at TEKAN headquarters in Jos, the Plateau State capital, was at the instant of the ServeNow Country Organizer, Mr. Alexander Enoch.
While welcoming guests at the event, the Executive Director of Shalom Youth Development Initiative (SYDI), Mr. Hezekiah Panye, appreciated most especially their partners for their commitment in the partnership and the guests for honouring their invitation despite short notice.
He said Shalom Youth Development Initiative which was established in the year 2015 with a focus on strengthening youths capacity through skills and Entrepreneurship development, discipleship, Sports, Music, Education, and Health Interventions signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the American Christian NGO, ServeNow in 2021.
The Country Organizer, Mr. Alexander Enoch while unveiling the second edition of the series, extended the greetings of the African Director of the organization, Rev. Simeon Havyarimana and said the materials are simplify to the understanding of the common person, adding that the organization is engaging people across the world.

He also noted that ServeNow is also engaging people in empowerment through one of her arms which is Outstretched hands, where they gives token for people to engage in businesses and have have a source of livelihood.
Mr. Enoch also outlined other packages of the organization to include, Discipleship and Microfinance package. He encouraged Shalom Youth Development Initiative management not to undermine their little begining, as he assured them of stronger partnership.
He also encouraged all the participants to endeavour to read and study the book, preach and disciple others as well as receive testimonies from their disciples and continue to win more souls for Christ.
There were testimonies from those who benefited from the first series of the book, “The basic things you want to know about Jesus” and goodwill messages from some stakeholders at the event.
The second series of the discipleship book “The basic things you need to know about reading and studying the Bible” which was unveiled yesterday is a 30 pages book.
