Nigeria @61- Violence, not parts of founding Father’s Struggles-PLHA Speaker

Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Abok Ayuba has said that the insecurity bedeviling the nation’s today was not part of the noble and dignifies struggled of the Country’s founding fathers for Independence.
The speaker in his message to Nigerians on the occasion of her 61st Independent anniversary, by his Chief Press Secretary, Bulus Atang said most of the security challenges in the country today would have been avoided, if Nigeria citizens see themselves as people of one indivisible nation.
Abok Ayuba urges Nigerians especially the leaders to imbibe the spirit of the nation’s founding fathers who did not consider their differences, but collectively craved for a Country that would be economically, socially and politically strong and a leading force in the continent.
The plateau Chief lawmaker, said the prevailing ethnic, religious and other security strife in the country had watered down its unity as the people no longer see themselves as one, which he said called for reflection.
According to Abok, the challenges confronting Nigeria are enormous that requires leaders at all levels to chat a new cause by sitting in a round table to tell each other the truth in order to get the clear way of meeting the yearning and aspiration of the citizens.
Abok admonished citizens to keep faith alive in the Nigeria project by supporting the programmes and policies of President Muhammadu Buhari led APC administration and the deliberate efforts of the Governor Simon Lalong’s  rescue mission on the Plateau aimed at taking the nation’s and plateau state to enviable heights.
On behalf of the leadership and members of the 9th state assembly, the speaker assured citizens, that the legislative arms will continue to collaborate with the executive arms for the betterment of the entire people of Plateau State.
