The APC Youth Parliament has launched an educational sponsorship program for 60 underprivileged children in Bauchi State to commemorate the 60th birthday of Vice President Kashim Shettima.
The Chairman of the group, Mr. Kabiru Garba Kobi, announced the development during a press briefing in Bauchi, explaining that the number of beneficiaries directly mirrors the milestone age attained by the Vice President.
He described the initiative as a gesture of thanksgiving to God for Shettima’s life and continuous service to the nation.
“As our esteemed leader marks his 60th birthday, we have decided to sponsor the education of 60 children in Bauchi, reflecting the number of years God has blessed him with” Kobi stated.

He specifically commended the Vice President’s leadership of the National Economic Council (NEC), noting that his coordination of economic policies between the federal and state governments demonstrates a profound understanding of pressing national issues.
Kobi also emphasized Shettima’s strong partnership with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in driving the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, calling him a unifying force in the North-East region and a reliable pillar for national development.
Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, the APC Youth Parliament chairman expressed absolute confidence in the Tinubu-Shettima partnership.
