Firewood Dealers Multi Purpose Ltd Restrategize Under New Leadership In Karu

Under a renewed arrangement and proactive management that is targeted at curbing activities of unlawful failing of trees by unauthorized persons for commercial purposes Firewood Dealers Multipurpose Limited Karu Local Government Area have come up with new strategy aim at supporting the state government efforts that can promote tree planting and mitigate the adverse effects of climate change.

The new Chairman of the association in Karu, Moses Oladipupo, made the commitment while briefing journalists in the area, following their meeting with officials of AcREsal ,stressing the need for urgent action to protect the environment.

Mr. Oladipupo commended the government for its efforts to promote afforestation, describing tree planting as essential to environmental protection and the mitigation of climate change.

Corroborating the Chairman’s position, the association’s Secretary, Bitrus Iliya and Deputy Chairman, Solomon Amos, said the association, being directly involved in the use of firewood, is committed to supporting initiatives that will ensure the sustainable use of forest resources and encourage tree planting.

The new leadership also appealed to members for their cooperation, understanding and support as it begins its tenure, while assuring members that the leadership would prioritise initiatives aimed at promoting unity, peace and the prosperity of their businesses.
” We are a registered association with the Cooperate Affairs Commission and in this regards a law abiding association of business men whose interest is to sustain the programmes and policies of the government both at federal and the state level.

“And as much as bring sanity and deserving revenue to both government and ensured the welfare of our members not through illegal means or in protest with any community” They added.
