Sen Wadada Calls for Peace, Unity of Purpose in Nasarawa

Following his victory at the just-concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary, Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has call his fellow contestants, tobe united for collective action ahead of the 2027 Nasarawa State gubernatorial election.

In a press statement released by his media team, Senator Wadada expressed profound gratitude to God, party members, and the people of Nasarawa State for entrusting him with the party’s flag.

He described his emergence as a collective mandate driven by a shared vision for inclusive development.

Wadada emphasizing that the victory belongs to the entire state rather than any single individual, urging all former aspirants and their supporters to bury their difference and unite behind the party’s broader goals.

“This victory is not mine alone; it belongs to every party faithful and every citizen who desires a more prosperous, united, and progressive Nasarawa State, I extend a hand of fellowship to all aspirants and their supporters as we move forward together in the spirit of unity, reconciliation, and collective purpose”, Wadada stated.

The incoming APC flag bearer paid special tribute to the incumbent Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, praising his leadership style and ensuring a level playing field during the internal election.

“commitment to a peaceful, transparent, and successful primary process, noting his dedication to the stability of the APC and the state remains invaluable”, Senator Wadada noted.

Senator Wadada further reaffirmed his commitment to purposeful, people-oriented governance. Emphasizing that building a sustainable and prosperous Nasarawa State requires all hands on deck.

“The task ahead is greater than any individual, and I remain committed to working with all stakeholders to advance the development of our state and improve the lives of our people,” Wadada added. (VON)
