In the political journey of Nasarawa State, Hon. Abdullahi Bala Masallaci must be mentioned because of his result oriented-leadership and legacy which he has left behind since the creation of the nearly 30-year-old state.
Masallaci, a former councillor of Makama ward in Lafia local government and an aide to Governor Abdullahi Sule, has impacted positively on the lives of women and youths in Lafia.
As a respected businessman, he cannot be compared with any of the aspirants seeking to represent Lafia Central at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly considering his track record and the legacy he left behind when he was councillor representing Makama Ward.
I believe Hon. Abdullahi Bala will not disappoint the people of Lafia Central if given the mandate come 2027 as he has contributed in the previous administration of Sen. Umaru Tanko Almakura and the present of administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule because of his experience and lofty contributions.
Masallaci, when he was a councillor has sponsored many bills that had direct bearing on the lives of the people of his ward, secured employment opportunities to less-privileged graduates and non-graduates, distributed teaching and learning materials, provided portable drinking water, financial support to victims of windstorms, sponsored NECO and WAEC to children of less-privileged individuals among other laudable achievements.
Masallaci, as a man of integrity, a peacemaker, trustworthy philanthropist, the people of Lafia Central believe the man will salvage constituency from the present challenge, if given the opportunity to serve diligently with the experience he had in the past.
Masallaci is working together with youths groups and other non-governmental organizations with a view to promoting peace, unity and mutual understanding among different nationalities in Lafia Central in line with Governor Sule’s peace initiative in the state.
Let’s rally behind Hon. Masallaci to witness tremendous achievements if elected as member representing Lafia Central at the Nasarawa State of House of Assembly come 2027.
