The Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Naanlong Daniel, has congratulated Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his re-emergence as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a goodwill message issued on Saturday his Press Secretary, Phillip Eplong, the Speaker described Yilwatda’s emergence through a peaceful consensus as a strong vote of confidence in his leadership qualities, tested capacity, and ability to unify party members.
Daniel noted that Yilwatda’s inclusive leadership style and commitment to ensuring that all stakeholders feel a sense of belonging have earned him widespread trust and support across the party, including backing from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other key stakeholders.
The Speaker also highlighted achievements recorded during Yilwatda’s previous tenure, citing improved internal cohesion, strengthened party structure, and enhanced strategic coordination within the APC. He expressed optimism that the chairman’s return would further consolidate these gains and reposition the party for greater unity and electoral success.
Commending the APC leadership for what he described as a seamless and consensus-driven process, Daniel praised the roles played by the President, Vice President, National Assembly leadership, governors, and members of the National Executive Committee in ensuring a smooth transition.
He assured the newly constituted National Working Committee of the unwavering support and loyalty of the Plateau State House of Assembly and the people of the state.
The Speaker concluded by wishing the party leadership a successful tenure and prayed for wisdom, strength, and good health as they steer the affairs of the APC.
