Plateau Central Zone APC Vows 100% Votes for Party at All Levels

The Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau Central Zone, Hon. Yakubu Bonlu, has declared that the party has “sewn its campaign shoes” for an intensive door-to-door campaign aimed at securing 100 percent votes for the party in all elections.

Hon. Bonlu made the statement shortly after an inaugural meeting with the State Chairman of the party, Hon. Rufus Bature. The meeting was followed by their first zonal executive meeting held at the office of the State Deputy Chairman, Hon. James Domchi, in Jos on Thursday.

He noted that the zone has a significant responsibility, especially as the governor comes from Plateau Central, stressing the need for members to work assiduously to deliver 100 percent votes for the party at the national, state, and local government levels.

According to him, after receiving encouragement and advice from the State Chairman, who guided them on how to strengthen and preserve the party, he immediately convened a zonal executive meeting to strategize on how to deliver victory for the APC in the zone.

“The Governor is from our zone, and for that reason we have the task of preaching the party’s message to the people so that we can secure his re-election for a second term and also deliver all other candidates of the party,” he said.

“As chairman of the party in the zone, together with all the executives, we have vowed not to relent. We are embarking on door-to-door sensitization to ensure that all people in the Central Zone join our party, the APC,” he added.

Hon. Bonlu said he charged the zonal executives not to disappoint the confidence reposed in them but to work diligently to ensure that the party wins all forthcoming elections.

He commended the State Chairman, Hon. Rufus Bature, the State Deputy Chairman, Hon. James Domchi, and other party executives, pledging synergy to ensure victory for the party not only in the zone but across the state and the nation.

He also appreciated Governor Caleb Mutfwang, whom he described as the leader of the party in the state, for the confidence reposed in them during the recently concluded state elective congress and for the peaceful conduct of the exercise.
