A political stakeholder, Hon. Markus Jonathan Umbugu, has congratulated Engineer Tony Bala Shammah (TBS) following his victory in the primary election for the Akwanga/Nasarawa-Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency in Nasarawa State.
Shammah emerged winner of the party’s primary election held on Saturday, securing the ticket to contest for the House of Representatives seat.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Sunday, Jonathan described the victory as “well-deserved,” attributing it to Shammah’s dedication, leadership qualities, and growing acceptance among party members and constituents.
According to him, “Congratulations to my dear friend and political associate, Engr. Tony Bala Shammah (TBS), on your well-deserved victory as the winner of the Akwanga/Nasarawa-Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency primary in Nasarawa State held yesterday, Saturday”.
Umbugu noted that the outcome of the primary reflected the confidence reposed in TBS by party stakeholders and the people of the constituency.
“Your emergence is a clear testament to your dedication, leadership qualities, and the confidence the people and party stakeholders have in your capacity to serve effectively.
“I am confident that your representation will bring progress, unity, and purposeful development to the constituency,” he stated.
The political associate further prayed for wisdom and success for the APC candidate as he prepares for the next phase of the electoral process in 2027.
“May this victory mark the beginning of greater accomplishments in your political journey. Wishing you success and wisdom as you prepare for the task ahead,” he added.
