Assembly: Enna Unveils Manifesto for Nasarawa Eggon West, Promises Quality Representation

A frontline aspirant for Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Nasarawa Eggon West Constituency, Hon. Peter Patrick Enna, has unveiled his manifesto ahead of the next election, pledging quality representation, youth empowerment, transparency, and grassroots development.

In his manifesto titled “The Unfinished Task for Nasarawa Eggon West,” Enna said his repeated attempts to represent the constituency were driven by his commitment to the people and the desire to address unresolved challenges facing the area.

The aspirant described himself as a tested and experienced leader who has remained connected to the people despite previous electoral setbacks.

“This is not my first time seeking your trust. I have knocked on your doors before. I have stood before you in past elections. Each trial was not a rejection; it was preparation,” he stated.

Enna lamented what he described as inadequate representation for Eggon West, noting that farmers remain vulnerable, graduates are unemployed, and primary schools lack adequate teachers and facilities.

According to him, leadership is not about winning elections at the first attempt but about remaining committed to the people at all times.

The aspirant highlighted his academic and professional background, saying he possesses qualifications in Philosophy, Business Administration, and Law, alongside ongoing postgraduate studies.

He added that his experience in administration and governance has equipped him with the knowledge required for effective lawmaking and legislative oversight.

Hon. Enna also pointed to his history of philanthropy and community service, saying he had supported widows, students, and small-scale traders long before venturing into politics.

As part of his agenda for the constituency, the aspirant unveiled a five-point compact focusing on quality representation, community development, youth empowerment, transparent leadership, and compassionate service.

He promised to sponsor people-oriented bills on land security, rural education, youth employment, and protection of traditional institutions if elected.

On infrastructure and development, Enna pledged to facilitate the grading of farm roads, renovation of primary schools, improved healthcare services, rural electrification, and access to clean water in underserved communities.

For youths, he proposed the establishment of an Eggon West Skills and Digital Hub to provide training in ICT, welding, fashion, and agribusiness, alongside scholarships and mentorship opportunities for graduates.

The aspirant also assured constituents of accountability, promising regular town hall meetings and public reports on constituency funds and projects.

“I will not be a seasonal politician. My house is here. My office will be here,” he declared.

While calling for support from the people of Nasarawa Eggon West, Enna urged voters to choose “experience over experiment” and “presence over pretense,” insisting that his years of perseverance had prepared him for effective service in the state assembly.
