The Vice Chancellor of Plateau State University (PLASU), Bokkos, Prof. Shedrack Best, has approved a two-week break for the 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Statement Masara Kim, the acting Public Relations Officer of the institution, said the University will close for the festive break at the end of work on Friday, 19 December 2025.
He said the break will run from Monday, 22 December 2025 to Sunday, 4 January 2026, to enable academic and administrative activities to resume on Monday, 5 January 2026.
The statement added that the Vice Chancellor wishes all staff and students as well as friends and partners of the University a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
