A chieftain of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Architectural Technologist Solomon Jonathan Anyu (Anyu’Abga), has accepted the call to contest for the seat of Nassarawa Eggon West Constituency in the 2027 general elections with the pledged to provide quality representation and empowerment .
Anyu’Abga made this known while speaking with newsmen in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area on Saturday.
He pledged to provide quality and purposeful representation in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, NSHA, for the constituency if given the mandate.
“As a dedicated servant, I pledge to represent the interests of our constituency with integrity, transparency, and accountability.
“My vision is to empower our communities through effective representation, sustainable development, and inclusive governance,” he stated.
The aspirant also disclosed that he would prioritize the interest of the people and lob for people’s oriented projects .
“I will protect the rights and interest of our people, as well promote economic growth, social justice, and human development in our communities.
“Create jobs and stimulate entrepreneurship through targeted initiatives. Support local businesses and industries. Improve infrastructure for trade and commerce.
“Enhance access to quality education, healthcare, and social services. Promote social inclusion and equality. Support vulnerable groups, including women, youth, and persons with disabilities.
“Improve roads, transportation, and public utilities. Enhance access to clean water, sanitation, and energy. Promote sustainable environmental practices.
“Ensure transparency and accountability in decision-making. Foster citizen participation in governance. Strengthen institutions and promote rule of law,” he stated further.
He listed other initiatives to include women and youth empowerment to provide constituents with the relevant skills training, mentorship, and job opportunities.
Anyu’Abga further pledged initiatives to ensure access to quality education and healthcare services and community development through collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
The aspirant solicited for the support and prayers of the stakeholders, all and sundry in the constituency to enable him succeed.
