Says a Giant General has fallen

The All Progressive Congress in Bauchi State has expressed sadness over the passing of late President Muhammadu Buhari, describing him as a patriot and leader who fought to keep Nigeria as one and worked tirelessly to stabilize the nation.
This was contained in a press statement that was signed by the State Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Hasan Tilde and made available to journalists in Bauchi.
“Indeed to Allah belongs what He has taken, to Him belongs what He has given, and everything has an appointed time with Him.”
“Today, our hearts are heavy with grief as we bid farewell to a charismatic leader, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR), the immediate past President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”
“We remember President Buhari as a champion of democracy, a patriot, darling of Talakawa and a leader who fought to keep Nigeria one and worked tirelessly to stabilize our nation and secure our future. His legacy will forever be etched in our collective memory”
“On behalf of Bauchi State APC leadership, Stakeholders and the entire members, I wish to extend our thoughts and prayers to the Buhari family, friends, and all Nigerians who have lost a dedicated leader. May Allah comfort you, compensate your loss and forgive your deceased loved one. And may Allah (SWT) admit Buhari into Jannati Ádnin, underneath which rivers flows, wherein he will abide forever” The statement read
