The Board of Trustee and members of Shalom Youth Development Initiative, (SYDI) have expressed gratitude to Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang for appointing the founder, and Chief Executive Officer of the organization, Mr. Hezekiah Panye as member of the Plateau State Roads Funds Board and Administration.
This was contained in a statement by Programme Officer of the organization, Mr. Gyang Chungwom, and issued to Daily News Breakers in Jos, the Plateau State capital on Monday.
The statement eulogized Mr. Hezekiah Panye as a highly respected personality with an unweavering commitment to duty, describing him as a round peg in a round hole.
“His appointment did not come to us as a surprise following his capacity and track records in youth mobilization and development initiatives across the state.
“We are convinced that his wealth of experience will come to bear as he contributes his quota to the development of Plateau State.” Parts of the statement read.
The statement added that the appointment will no doubt further endear Governor Mutfwang to the youths of Plateau State whom they have tagged “a youth friendly governor”.
“As you continue to steer the ship of “The Time is Now” administration, we wish you God’s guidance and protection.”
