Some concerned persons in Nasarawa North Senatorial Zone of Nasarawa State have thrown their weight behind a call on the immediate past Chairman of Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Council Danlami Muhammad Idris to serve them again at the National Assembly come twenty twenty seven.
They made their position known while speaking with this medium in Wamba local government area of Nasarawa State.
Some of the critical stakeholders across Nasarawa North Senatorial District of the State from Wamba local government, Mr Simon Dehai and Bichi Muhammad said the call on Danlami Idris to serve in the zone at a higher level is not out of place considering his immense contributions to the peace and growth of the area.
Contributing, Elder Tanko from Akwanga Local Government Area maintained that the former chairman has a cordial relationship with his people at the grassroots.
Former Speaker, Nasarawa Eggon local government council, Tijani Marafa and Comrade Hosea Esla said Mr. Danlami Idris has created empowerment programmes for Youths and women amongst many others that benefited residents of the area.
The leader of the movement and former CPC Chairman Nasarawa State, Abdullahamid Haruna who said the call became necessary and appealed to Mr. Danlami Idris to answer the clarion call on him to serve them again at the National Assembly.
