The only female aspiration for the Chairmanship seat for Kanke Local Government Council in the scheduled October 9th local government elections in Plateau State, Hon. Roseline Gotring has said that her aspiration is basically to fulfill God’s purpose in her life for her beloved people.
Hon. Roseline Gotring who is running for the Chairmanship under the platform of the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP in the state was speaking on her aspiration to Journalists at their Jos residence.
The aspirant who described her self as a unifier, said if given the mandate to lead the council, she will build bridges, amend walls to bring about unity among people of Kanke Local Government Area.
She opined that there are missing ribs in Kanke that she intend to address. “You discover there are lots of missing ribs in Kanke that I want to come and fix them back to their original purpose that God created Kanke for.” She added.
Hon. Roseline Gotring who is the founder of a foundation, known as MUMSO Kingdom Home for the Hopeless Initiative, said God has deposited something unique in her that she is doing to impact lives positively and being on the seat of Chairman in her local government will give her more opportunities to do a lot for the people.
She said the wellbeing of women and youths, has always being her priority, which gave birth to the foundation she is currently running that support the health of women and rehabilitate drugs addicts and sponsoring many of them back to school in various institutions of learning.
Hon. Roseline Gotring, a known philanthropist on the Plateau had over the years been providing free healthcare services in many communities across Kanke and has been cultivating hectares of farmland purposely to feed the less privileged in the society, especially those in Internally Displaced Persons IDPs’ camps.
She lamented the current deplorable condition of learning for students in the locality, pledging to address the education sector by providing a conducive learning environment for the students and pupils as well as institute proper supervision for the teachers to put in their best.
The Chairmanship aspirant also promised empowerment packages that will attracts the youths and discourage some of them who always risk their lives traveling to Kano and other parts of the Northern states for Dogs hunting or business to fend for themselves and their love ones.
She assured people of Kanke of agricultural input that will boost their farming capacity like fertilizer at a subsidize price that the farmers can afford.
Hon. Roseline Gotring also hint on using her husband’s influence in the banking sector to introduce banks in 3 zones to relieve the people of traveling to either Pankshin or Langtang for financial transactions in banks.
One other key component the aspirant also assured the good people of Kanke is Information and Technology centres to enable the youths especially students who would be writing computer based examinations to have computer knowledge before their examinations.
