LoisFlire Foundation donates clothes to Jos Community

   Celebrations continue to trail the airspace of Filin-Laka in Kabong District of Jos-North Local Government Area, Plateau State, when LoisFlire Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, donates clothes and other items to women, men and children in the community.

    This took place Saturday, at the popular Filin-Laka of Kabong District, where men, women and children trooped in their numbers as early as 8:am to benefit from the gesture amidst celebrations.

     The Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LoisFlire Foundation, Lois Chigoeze, represented by the organisation’s Manager, Mr. Chibundu Chika, said it was primarily to put smiles in the faces of the neediest and intended to return in two or three weeks time to give more to children, because they were not able to benefit well.

    “We intend to reach the IDP camps in Bassa, Bokkos and Mangu Local Government Areas to do same by the grace of God. Our joy is to see people happy and smiling, not calculating what we have spent so far all the way from UK to Nigeria and to Jos which is a lot of money.

     “We do this to categories of people, Christians and Muslims alike. We have Muslims whom we have reached out to in Kaduna State and after this event, we intend to reach out to Muslims dominated community like Ali Kazaure, a Muslim community here in Jos. So, we give it to everybody!”, she highlighted.

    The Chief Executive, therefore, called on spirited individuals, organisations and philanthropists who would want to be part of what they were doing by following the LoisFlire handles to give their contributions or join hands so that, they could do it together.

   Earlier, the Organiser of the programme, Mr. David Ochigbo, disclosed that the donor who is a Nigerian residents in the UK, thought it necessary to extend a helping hand to the neediest by harnessing resources to put smiles in the faces of her people.

   He said, “we have covered so many communities in Jos-North Local Government Area like Bidabidi along Jingere road and now we are here in Kabong and you can see how women, men and children are trooping to benefit. We intend to reach everybody especially, the neediest who are in IDP camps also”, the Organiser assured.

   However, the Youth Leader of G-Kabong, Comrade Michael Mallo, could not hide his joy seeing his people benefiting from this gesture by the LoisFlire Foundation and prayed God to continue to open ways for the donor to continue to do more to people.

    For Bitrus Peace from Filin-Laka of Kabong, Ibrahim God’s-power, of World Changers Primary School, Mama Jenet Nyam Zi, Augustine Sunday and many more who were beneficiaries of LoisFlire Foundation outreach prayed God to bless the donor and continue to give long life to help the less privileged.
