Accountant World Communication Technology and Human Development Consultancy, says it is seeking partnership with the Nasarawa State House Assembly in financial discipline and management.
Mr Abubakar Ibrahim, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Firm said this during a courtesy call on minority leader and Chairman Committee on Public Account, Nasarawa state assembly, Solomon Akwashiki in Lafia.
According to him, the objective of the visit is to seek partnership with the state assembly in the area of developmental public account and financial discipline in Nasarawa state.
Ibrahim underscored the need to meet the international standard and best practices when it comes to public account management in Nasarawa state.
He, therefore, identified possible area of partnership to include: fundamental principal management of public account of Nasarawa state, financial control and accountability, financial budget and budgetary expenditure.
Others are financial procurement, financial accounting standard and due process of public account, financial information and data base of public and many more.
Ibrahim said his firm has the expertise and technical knowledge and skills to deliver on the aforementioned areas and many more.

“The essence of our visit to the office of Honourable and chairman committee on public account of Nasarawa state assembly is to partner with him to identify areas of developmental public account management.
“The visit also is to enable us to seek and identify areas of intervention of growth and development of public account management in the state.
“With this, we are seeking for 3 years offer on developmental management consultancy service to the house on public account management and capacity building,” he said.
He applauded the member, Solomon Akwashiki for executing people oriented projects, women and youth empowerment as well as attracting employments for his constituency.
Responding, the chairman committee on public account and member representing Lafia Central on the platform of Social Democratic Party, Solomon Akwashiki appreciated the firm for the visit.
Akwashiki said that the relevance sections of constitution empower law makers to carry out their responsibilities without fear or favour.
“I must say essence of account is for check and balance, without accountability there wouldn’t have been government, as chairman of public account I have been empower by law to check public account especially Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs)
“And the purpose of the committee is to ensure transparency in terms of balance but not to witch -hunt any MDAs.
“I must say you are a very critical stakeholder as far as government is concerned, and I want to assure you I will partner with you and I will take on what the leader of the delegation mentioned one after another.(NAN)
