MAHESD lauds appointment of her Two Members as Media Aides by Gov. Mutfwang

Media Action for Health, Environment and Sustainable Development (MAHESD) has commended the Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for finding two of her members worthy to serve as media aides in the “Time is Now” administration.

In a statement by Program Officer of the organization, Joel Gomiyar, noted that their appointment was as a result of their commitment to the work or journalism.

Gomiyar said the appointment of Mrs. Marie-Therese Nanlong who is the Vanguard Newspaper Correspondent in Plateau State and Mr. Alex Yibekas Sankara, the publisher of Nigeria Star News who are both members of MAHESD as Principal Special Assistants to the Governor on Media, is a clear indication that commitment, hard work and dedication to duty is rewarding.

“This appointment to us is laudable considering the emerse contributions of the two personalities in shaping the state through their journalistic contributions in promoting Government activities and standing in the gab for the voiceless.” The statement read.

MAHESD tasks the appointees to work assiduously in propagating the good work that the administration has started as information is key in every organize society and to also promote Interreligious tolerance for peace and harmonious coexistence among citizens of the state and beyond.

‘We congratulate our members on their well deserved appointment and pray God to give them wisdom to discharge their assigned responsibility with every form of commitment.’ the statement added.
